You can apply to study our 100% online programs directly with Adelaide University.

We've put together the following step-by-step guide to help you. Whatever your starting point, our Future Student Services team are here to guide and support you through the process. 

*Please note that the 100% online Bachelor of Health Service Management and Bachelor of International Business are delivered in partnership with Open Universities Australia (OUA). You must apply directly through the OUA website.

Our step-by-step application guide

Before you begin

Find the 100% online program that's right for you. You can explore our Study at Adelaide University webpage to view the 100% online programs available and get support anytime from the Future Student Services team who can help you find the right program.

Step 1 – Create an account

To apply directly for a 100% online program at Adelaide University you will need to create an account with us. Once created, you will be able to save and return to your application later.

Step 2 – Prepare your application

We'll ask you to provide some information about you, your work and education history, the program you’d like to study and your preferred start date so we can assess your application.

You may also need to provide some documents to support your application. This could include: 

  • Official transcripts or a parchment from previous studies

  • Proof of professional accreditations or courses

  • A curriculum vitae (CV), or document outlining your academic and professional work history including detailed descriptions of roles and responsibilities 

  • Relevant work references 

If you aren't sure whether these documents are required in your situation, please don't hesitate to contact us or start an application now.

Step 3 – Submit your application

Once you have completed your application, you are ready to submit! If it is taking some time to source all the documents you want to include, you can submit your application and send through your documents separately later. Please contact the Future Student Services team who will help you with this.

Step 4 – Assessment of your application and credit applications

Next, the Future Student Services team will be in contact to support you throughout the rest of the application process. 

While your application is carefully reviewed, a Future Student Adviser will help you identify whether you’re eligible to also apply for credit from previous study or work experience. This can reduce the overall time it takes to complete your program. Our aim is to provide you with an official credit application outcome before you receive an outcome for your application, so you have all the information you need to make your decision about starting your studies.

Once your application has been assessed, a Future Student Adviser will share the outcome as soon as possible.

Step 5 – Welcome to Adelaide University!

Once your application is approved, our Student Assist team will welcome you to Adelaide University! They can also answer any questions you have about your 100% online studies, orientation and enrolment to help you get started. You will also be assigned a dedicated Student Assist Officer will help you throughout your program of study, making sure you get the most out of your experience. 

100% online study application cut off dates

100% online programs are taught in either four 10-week blocks, or six 6-week blocks throughout the year. You can find out which pattern your program of interest is taught in on our program pages.
