Other considerations

International students

International students generally enjoy the same opportunities as domestic Australian students when it comes to global learning experiences. You can apply to go on exchange or an approved short-term program and standard selection criteria will apply to you.

If you’re an international student studying an Adelaide University degree, there are several factors you’ll need to consider before you apply for a global learning program. Visit the Global learning applicant support webpage for more information.

OS-HELP

Eligibility for exchange is not the same as eligibility for OS-HELP. If you intend to take out an OS-HELP loan to support your exchange, you must ensure you meet the OS-HELP eligibility criteria in addition any exchange eligibility criteria. Check the Global learning costs and funding webpage for details.

Your Adelaide University commitments

Make sure you consider how your chosen short exchange program dates fit with the Adelaide University academic calendar. Where applicable, you’ll need to make sure it doesn’t overlap with any important requirements related to your studies back home.

Please note that for all student travel there will be requirements under the Adelaide University Travel Policy that must be met.
